Christine Monroe is an attorney with Greben | Monroe, A Professional Law Corporation and practices environmental law and complex litigation. Christine is a graduate of the Santa Barbara College of Law. While in law school, Christine was recognized by the Santa Barbara Women Lawyers Foundation for three consecutive years, and has received the McLafferty Memorial Law Scholarship Award. Before law school, Christine worked at Girls Inc. teaching girls computer and research skills. She is also published in the UCSB Law Journal for her article on gender equality in education.
Christine is a past-president of SBWL and is the webmaster. She has previously held positions as the Communications chair and editor of the newsletter. Christine now serves as the liaison and Affiliate Governor on the California Women Lawyers Board. Her work with CWL includes serving as the Communications Chair and Editor of the Newsletter, and serves on the Executive, Judicial Evaluations, and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committees.
In her free time, Christine enjoys cooking, hiking, and enjoying time with her pup, Lucy.
