Marisol Alarcon is an immigration attorney located in Carpinteria. Marisol is a dual citizen of the United States and Chile. She was born in the United States to immigrant parents, so she understands the unique challenges of growing up with immigrant parents whose first language is not English. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association and the National Immigration Project. She believes in contributing to the community and is a board member of the Santa Barbara County Bar Foundation, Carpinteria Children’s Project, Teen Legal Clinic, and Santa Barbara Women Lawyer’s Foundation. In addition to immigration law, Marisol is interested in Restorative Justice and has volunteered for the Santa Barbara Restorative Justice Program, which provides an alternative form of sentencing to teens in the community.
